Client challenge. Most of Atomic Interactive's clients know us as web developers and designers who create beautiful and functional websites. We were interested in showing our current clients and any potential future clients that we are also capable of implementing custom functionality and creating custom applications. We also know that using Illustrator or InDesign to create sitemaps is a frustrating and tedious process, so we set out to create a solution.
what we did
Atomic solution. SlickPlan is a a dynamic web application that allows professional and amateur web developers alike to quickly and easily create functioning sitemaps for free. Atomic handcrafted SlickPlan using PHP/MySQL and jQuery, and then used Twitter to identify a qualified focus group that helped us beta test the program. SlickPlan was released two months ago, and the positive feedback as well as the amount of registered users we've received has been overwhelming. Creating a neat, functional sitemap is the first step of any quality web design project, and we now use SlickPlan at the beginning of each of our website projects. The result? The popularity of SlickPlan has shocked even its creators. SlickPlan was launched less than two months ago, and it has over 3,000 registered users. SlickPlan was created to fulfill a need of Atomic Interactive's, but we're happy and proud to share this application with the rest of the world.
